Someone told me the Vilna Gaon says since annointing is like drinking year round a person for example can not use nonkosher soap as he would be aborbing nonkosher into his body...True? where in print does he say this?

The Rema, in Siman 326, Se'if 10 forbids rubbing non-Kosher fat into one's skin on Shabbos because it is 'Nolad' (creating something new). This implies that during the week it would be permitted.
The Bi'ur Halachah comments on this that the Gra follows the opinion that rubbing non-Kosher fat into one's skin is forbidden even during the week, because "anointing is akin to drinking." This does not conform with the opinion of Rabeinu Tam and others, who confine the principle "anointing is akin to drinking" to Yom Kipur, Terumah and to all commodities that are Asur b'Hana'ah (forbidden to benefit from), like whom the Halachah is, says the Bi'ur Halachah. The Halachah he says, is not like the Gra. However, he concludes that if Kosher fat (or soap) is available, one should rather use that.
