1. Could you please explain what is meant (page 3, par
beginning with "Nevertheless" - what is meant by "the
word of the Urim v'Tumim is never recalled"?
2. Page 4: Bilam was granted a crystal clear vision in
the interest of Yisroel's protection. Might one not still
think that he might twist the "clear" vision by his own
twisted reasoning, or whatever, so that Yisroel would
notwithstanding still be in danger?

1. Any prophecy that is issued by the Urim v'Tumim will definitely occur. In contrast, there are certain conditions under which the prophecy of a human prophet will be retracted.
2. That is the whole point. Hash-m gave Bilam such a clear vision that it was impossible for him to use his even his greatly twisted mind to corrupt it.
