Why did Chaza"l make more than one blessing of Shehakol, and then limit to only four others. Seems like one general might be sufficient.
But since wanted to be more specific, they could have made ten's of specific blessing s including more specific foods, including food involving mtizvos or blessed food (on meat, on healthy food, on greens, on water, oil, eggs, etc.) There seems to be lot of beneficial categories, and many pesukim involving specific foods, or foods exhibiting special qualities.
Why only these five specific blessings and no more or less?
By the after blessings there are only three.
