Tosfos mentions a question on the Kal V'chomer that is asked in Zevochim. The question references that a Kohein should need to do the Hazh because he must use a Kli for the Ben Tzon. What is this Kli referring to? THe Schita (that is what Rashi in Zevochim seems to say)? If so how does it effect the kal V'Chomer that seems to be discussing Hazah?
Please just shed a little light on poshut pshat for me.
Thanks so much.

The Gemara's Kal va'Chomer here is based on the fact that the Avodah of a bird , Of, needs Kehunah more than the Avodah of Tzon . The proof for this is that Shechitah is Kesheirah b'Zar while Melikah is not. Therefore the Gemarah concludes that Haza'ah of an Of surely needs Kehunah since the Haza'ah of a Beheimah needs Kehunah.
Tosfos asks that the Gemara in Zevachim wants to learn a different Halachah from this same Kal v'Chomer, and the Gemara rejects the Kal v'Chomer, pointing out that Beheimah has a Chumra that Of does not; it requires a Kli Shares.
Rashi in Zevachim writes that a Kli Shares is necessary for Shechitah and Kabalas ha'Dam of a Beheimah. This is consistent with what Rashi teaches in many places, that the knife used for Shechitah was considered a Kli Shares. However, Tosfos in many places (see Tosfos Chulin 3a DH Kegon) argues that the knife used for Shechitah does not have to be be a Kli Shares. (Rashi himself takes this point of view in Zevachim 31b.)
