The gemora discusses one who's מקום שביתה is more than 4 amos from his Eruv? How does this happen? The eruv is supposed to determine the מקום שביתה?

כנראה, הנחת העירוב מוכרח אבל גם בעל העירוב חייב לכוון לשבות במקום עירובו. ואם יוצא שאין לו גישה לעירובו עקב איסורי שבת בין השמשות, אז " אין עירובו עירוב" ולא קנה לו את המקום. משנה לב: מדבר על זה.
