I thought that Pesachim 79B says that women are obligated to bring korban pesach (but not on pesach sheni). How does that square with Rosh Hashanah 33 which seems to forbid semicha by a woman?
The Kollel replies:
First, there is no Semichah performed on the Korban Pesach (Pesachim 89a).
Second of all, even Korbanos on which one must do Semichah, the fact that a woman is exempt (and prohibited) from doing Semichah does not exempt her from the Korban; she simply brings the Korban without doing Semichah (Chagigah
16b).
