Does the Gemoro just mean to exclude the opinion of Resh Lokish? (If so, why not say so)
The Kollel replies:
Reish Lakish does not express this opinion explicitly; rather, the Gemara uses this Sevara to explain Reish Lakish's view. Therefore, the Gemara mentions the Sevara rather than saying "l'Afukei m'Reish Lakish."
