The gemara says rav Huna bar Chinnina wanted to give a drasha (explaining the mishna which was unclear) that teaches one may make a condition that all of their nedarim will be ineffective. Rava comes and tell Rav Huna Bar Chinnina the Tanna was deliberate in writing the mishna this way in order to deter people from taking nedarim lightly and you want to darshan this in public?!
my question is on Ravas question. the gemara on the top of the ammud teaches that this condition will only work if one forgets their condition at the time of the neder. how could knowing that one is capable of making a condition make him lightheaded to make nedarim for if he remembers his condition at the time of his neder then his condition is over ridden.

The Shitah Mekubetzes here writes in the name of the Ra'am that if he would have remembered the condition at the time of the Neder, he would not have made the Neder. Therefore, if he did make the Neder, we can assume that this means that he forgot the Tenai.
