I understand that the Terumas Hadeshen was the first avodah done in the morning in which the kohen would take a kemitzah worth off the mizbeach and put it necxt to the keves. However, with regard to the hotzoas hadeshen, I am not clear whether it was done daily, or on an as needed basis. by which kohen. When the kohen changed into different clothing, which avodah was this for. If it was only done periodically, was there an extra payis for it when it was needed; What about with regard to the mizbeach hapenimi? Sorry the question is not so well formulated, but it is just sort of a general confusion.

Dear Micheal
Thanks for your questions. Most of the issues you raised are discussed in Maseches Tamid (second Perek and on). It seems to have been done everyday except on the Regalim. The Rambam (Temidin u'Musafin 2:14) states that there was no Payis for Hotza'as ha'Deshen. With regard to Mizbe'ach ha'Penimi see the third Perek of Tamid.
