The Kollel replies:
I think that the Beraisa mentions Wednesday and Thursday in light of the Sugya later, where the Tana refers to a number of cases which are Asur to begin three days before Shabbos (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday); so the Tana teaches us that in this case although it is Asur to do on Friday, the Isur does not incorporate Wednesday and Thursday.
