The Gemara calculates Yaakov age at certain events in his life and everything is fine and I understand it
However, the Bach says that Yaakov was 75 not 77 as our Girsa in the gemoro says.
I cannot understand the Bach. I have looked all over and no one talks about this.
Could you explain the Girsas Habach to me?
Thank You, Moshe Deutsch
Shalom Rav,
The Hagahos v'Tziyunim in the new printings of the Gemara (which you presumably don't have) points out that this Bach is a printing error.
