Hi In megillah 14a there's a list of woman prophets One is Miriam in this parsha . It says that Miriam waited by the Nile to see if her prophecy would be fulfilled. Shouldn't she be worried about her brother!!!

The verse actually says "to know what would become of him," meaning that this was what concerned her. Nevertheless, Chazal say that she also wanted to know how the prophecy she had regarding him would come true, as she was confident and had faith that it would happen but did not know how. Thus, the Gemara does not say, "What would become of her prophecy," but "what would be the end of her prophecy" -- meaning, how it would be fulfilled and not whether it would be fulfilled.
It is possible to find a hint to this in the verse itself, which uses the word "l'De'ah' and not "la'Da'as" which is the usual infinitive "to know." This has a connotation of prophecy and not just knowledge, as it says about the future, "The world will be full of De'ah of G-d like water covers the sea" ((Yeshayah 11:9), implying a unique kind of knowledge.
