rava says that a utensil on top of water is not a hanacha. is an ice cube on a puddle of water a hanacha? is jello on a puddle of water a hanacha? a utensil on a pile of jello? ice cube on a utensil?
yehudah hamer, boredimore, merryland
It has been quite a while since we last heard from you. We hope you have been well.
I'm not sure whether your questions prove that you are bored or that you are merry :-) . The Klal is that If the object, whatever it is, stays in one place, then it is a Hanachah, while if it floats away then it is not.
