Thank you for the previous answer. There seems to be an interesting machlokos between Rashi and Tosfos concerning the above subject. Rashi brings a posuk from tehillim Pikudei H'shem to explain this inyan whereas Tosfos brings a posuk from Divrei HaYomim. Any ideas?

Rashi is only coming to support the "Gilah" that comes from Torah, which is why he quoted the Pasuk "Pekudei Hash-m Yesharim Mesamchei Lev" - "the commands of Hash-m are straight, they gladden the heart" (Tehilim 19:9). Tosfos, however, understood that the Gemara is didactically using the words "b'Makom Gilah" - "in a place of happiness" to symbolize a different "place of happiness" referred to in the Pasuk "Oz v'Chedvah b'Mekomo" - "strength and happiness in His place" (Divrei Hayamim I, 16:27).
All the best,
Yaakov Montrose
