Why did he need to say, "if you are thirsty, you will go to the Kelim

1.

Rashi: Do not be ashamed to drink from the Kli of water that the male youths drew.

2.

Malbim: We find that David said "Mi Yashkeni Mayim mi'Bor Beis Lechem Asher ba'Sha'ar" (Shmuel II, 23:15). There was very good water in the pit; "Asher ba'Sha'ar" is where the Sanhedrin sits. They did not let girls draw water. The boys drew water for drinking. Since it was a great toil to go to there, they did not give to the Aniyim from that water, rather, from other water drawn from nearby. He permitted her to drink from the water that the males drew; he commanded them not to protest against her.
