What is the difference between "Bamos" and "Chamanim"?

1.

Rashi: 'Bamos' are towers and castles, and 'Chamanim', a kind of idol that they placed on their rooftops opposite the sun. 1

Rashbam, Targum Onkelos and Targum Yonasan: 'Bamos' refers to the altars that they built (to sacrifice to their gods). Targum Yonasan: 'Chamanim' refers to diviners and sorcerers.

1
