What is the meaning of "b'Shalom Yachdav Eshkevah v'Ishan"?

1.

Rashi: If Yisrael were together with me in Shalom, I would lie down and sleep serenely. I would not fear afflicters and enemies.

2.

Radak: I desired their good, yet still they did evil to me. I desired to be b'Shalom with them; then, I would lie down and sleep serenely, for nothing would disturb my sleep after they would return to me.

3.

Malbim: It is as if David lies down with Shalom.

2)

Why did he say "[Ki Atah Hashem] l'Vadad la'Vetach [Toshiveni]"?

1.

Rashi: This is like "Betach Badad Ein Yakov" (Devarim 33:28). It is an expression of Mivtach and Shaket (serene); he need not station troops with himself.

2.

Radak: I am assured that You alone will fulfill my desire and return me with them. I do not trust in another.

3.

Malbim: It says "va'Yishkon Yisrael Betach Badad Ein Yakov El Eretz Dagan v'Sirosh Af Shamav Ya'arfu Tal" (Devarim 33:28). When there is dew, grain and wine, Yisrael dwell confidently, alone; they need not buy grain from other lands.
