Why did he say "Yakar b'Einei Hashem

Rashi: He showed me that it is very hard in His eyes to kill His Chasidim [Radak - before their time. This is like v'Yeikar Damam b'Einav" - 72:14]. I am among His Chasidim, therefore, He spared me.

Malbim: Because the dead cannot praise Hashem, death of His Chasidim is harsh in His eyes, and He thinks how to avoid their death.

What is "ha'Mavsah"?

Rashi: It is death. The grammatical form of this is like ha'Baysah, ha'Chutzah.
