Verse 3 mentioned a convert before a Seris. Why does Hashem's reply first discuss a Seris?

1.

Radak: Because it was mentioned last, it is explained first, like "Yakov v'Es Esav va'Eten l'Esav Es Har Se'ir" (Yehoshua 24:4).

2)

Why does it say "Shabsosai" (plural)?

1.

Radak citing his father: This refers to Shabbos Bereishis and Shabbos ha'Aretz (Shemitah). They were exiled also due to transgressing Shemitah, like is written 1 .

Vayikra 26:34-35 says that Yisrael will be exiled, and the land will rest and be appeased for the Shemitos that were not observed. (PF)

3)

Why does it specify "Brisi"? Is this not included in "ba'Asher Chafatzti"?

1.

Radak 1 #1: The strongest Mitzvos were given with a Bris - "Hine Dam ha'Bris Asher Karas Hashem Imachem Al Kol ha'Devarim ha'Eleh" (Shemos 24:8).

2.

Radak #2: It refers to Bris Milah, for it was given with 13 covenants.

3.

Malbim: "Ba'Asher Chafatzti" refers to Mitzvos and Avodah; Brisi is learning Torah - "Im Lo Brisi Yomam va'Laylah

We explain that "bi'Vrisi" begins a new DH in Radak, like Kli Paz. (PF)
