What is the significance of [juice of] pomegranates?
Torah ha'Temimah citing Brachos 57a: If a Chacham sees half-pomegranates, he will acquire Torah - "Ashkecha mi'Yayin ha'Rekach me'Asis Rimoni."
Rashi: Their wine (juice) is sweet.
Seforno: These are commoners' deeds.
Malbim (Melitzah): They are good deeds. In this Sefer, pomegranates always refer to 613 Mitzvos.
