What is the significance of "[Heililu] Shiros Heichal"?
Rashi: They are songs that they sing in their palaces at their drinking parties.
Radak: The songs that they used to sing in their palaces will be converted for them to Yelalah (wailing). Regarding this, it says "u'Lefanav Tadutz De'avah" (Iyov 41:14; He converts Simchah to misery).
Malbim: Songs that they sung in the palaces of the idols, they will be converted for them to wailing, for the punishments come due to them.
What is "Rav ha'Peger"?
Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: There are many killed bodies.
Malbim: They were placed in a coop special for holding dead birds. This hints that they dead will be numerous like dead trapped birds. They will not remain in the coop, for he saw the coop empty, without birds. i.e. their dead bodies will be cut off, lying outside.
What is the meaning of "b'Chol Makom Hishlich Hass"?
Rashi: Every place, they say 'cast and remove' ? remove these bodies from here!'
Radak: Wherever they cast dead bodies, one says to his colleague who casts 'Hass!' I.e. be quiet and do not scream. Let us justify the verdict, like I explained (refer to 6:10:5:2).
Radak citing Targum Yonasan: Everywhere, they will say 'be silent.' This is like he explained above (6:10).
Malbim: The word "Hass" has no explanation. The Navi had something else to reveal, but he feared to reveal it, due to danger. He said "Hass" ? be quiet, and do not reveal the matter. Yeshayah explained it - "in another 65 years, Efrayim will cease to be a nation" (7:8). I.e. 65 years from when Amos prophesized "v'Yisrael Galo Yigleh me'Al Admaso" (7:17). There were 65 years from this time until the 10 tribes were exiled. Amos did not explicitly limit the time ? so he was commanded! He hinted, and gave a tradition to Bnei ha'Nevi'im. He said "Hass" (be silent); he chose a word that its Gematriya is 65. He did not reveal it, for if a Navi prophesizes future evil without a time, it is not harsh in the people's eyes. They know that evil prophesies are sometimes changed, or the time is delayed if the nation improves its deeds ? "ha'Chazon Asher Hu Chozeh l'Yamim Rabim" (Yechezkel 12:27). However, if he bounds the time, this shows that the time is close, and the matter will not be changed in any case 1 . Hashem did not want him to say this openly. "Hass" hints that he covers a matter, and to 65. Yeshayah was in the days of Achaz, close to the time [of fulfillment]; he revealed it 2 .
Yonah prophesized (3:4) that Ninveh will be overturned in 40 days, and their Teshuvah averted the decree! Perhaps there, it truly was "Nehfaches", from sinners to Tzadikim. (PF)
Seemingly, it is more dangerous to reveal it close to the time! Why did he not say that Yeshayah revealed it because he was in Malchus Yehudah, and the evil was for Malchus Efrayim? (PF)
