Radak: This is like Zachruhu (after they had forgotten Him) - "v'Libam Lo Nachon Imo" (verse 37).

Malbim: Then they said that they have a rock, fortress and refuge in Hashem, and their redeemer is Kel Elyon, the Cause of causes; He does not receive His strength from others.
