What did he think about previous days?
Rashi: The Chasadim that You did with our fathers.
Malbim: One who is about to die, at the last moment his mind spans everything that happened to him in his life. So he compares the entire nation; it is about to cease, as if it never was. At this last moment it thinks about what happened to it in early days in Egypt, and afterwards in generations of the world.
Is there a difference between "Yamim mi'Kedem" and "Shnos Olamim"?
Radak: No. The matter is repeated in different words. Olamim refers to long eras. I think of past times that Yisrael were in Galus and left, and returned to their land b'Simchah.
Malbim: Yes. "Yamim mi'Kedem" is in Egypt, and "Shnos Olamim" are later generations.
