Why does he tell Hashem to see?

1.

Radak: This is like "Ki Ram Hashem v'Shafal Yir'eh" (Tehilim 138:6).

2.

Malbim: After all the miracles that You used to do for us, now it is the opposite!

2)

Why does it mention "Shamayim" and "Zevul Kodshecha v'Sif'arto"?

1.

Radak: They are the same. His Oz is seen in Shamayim. [The Heavenly bodies] stand forever in their strength; they do not change or switch,

2.

Malbim: Hashem conduct fixed natural conduct via Shamayim. Zevul is the place of the Shechinah of His Oz and Hashgachah; miraculous conduct is from there. Re'iyah is physical sight of the eye. Habatah is putting one's heart to the matter (contemplation). Also now You conduct us with hidden miracle. To the eye, it seems like it used to be. However, contemplation shows that it changed. Regarding miraculous conduct from Zevul, even the eye sees the change.

3)

What Kin'ah [and Gevurah] does he ask about?

1.

Rashi: Your prior Kin'ah.

2.

Radak: You used to have Kin'ah when You saw the affliction of Your nation, and You showed Your Gevurah among the nations.

3.

Malbim: Hashem's miracles of old had two purposes. (a) Due to the Kedushah of His name, to show His Gevurah, or for Kinah of the profaning of His name. Also refer to 63:15:4:2.

4)

What is the meaning of "Hamon Me'echa"?

1.

Rashi: The welling up of Your innards with mercy on us, like "Al Ken Hamu Me'ai Lo Rachem Arachamenu" (Yirmeyah 31:19).

2.

Malbim: Your miracles of old were also due to mercy on Your nation

5)

Why does it say "His'apaku"?

1.

Rashi: (Your innards used to well up with mercy on us.) This was held back. This is like "va'Yis'apak va'Yomer Simu Lechem" (Bereishis 43:31) - they did not recognize that his mercy welled up for his brother.
