What is the comparison to an animal in a Bik'ah?
Rashi: A Bik'ah (plain) is flat. So Ru'ach Hashem made the depth a paved path.
Radak: They descended to the depth without toil, like an animal descends to a valley. The descent is small, and it is easy to go [in the valley], for it is flat.
Malbim: This refers to the miracle of raising the depth, until the path became level. It was like an animal 'descends' to a plain.
Why does it say "Sered"?
Rashi: It will spread, like "Lerad Lefanav Goyim" (45:1)
What is the meaning of "Tenichenu"?
Radak: It will give them rest [from their afflicters and pursuers].
Radak citing Targum Yonasan: This is like Tanchenu, like "Neche Es ha'Am" (Shemos 32:34). Like an animal in a flat Midbar, Hashem's word will lead them.
Whom will Ru'ach Hashem guide [or give rest to them]?
Radak: The pronoun at the end of Tenichenu refers to His nation, which was mentioned above. This is like "va'Tir'ehu Es ha'Yeled" (Shemos 2:6). Ru'ach Hashem is like Ruchacha (for he addresses Hashem - Nihagta). This is like "v'El Moshe Amar Aleh El Hashem" (Shemos 24:1).
Why does it say "Ken"?
Radak: This refers to the comparison to an animal.
What is "Shem Tif'eres"?
Radak: You will have glory and honor forever [Malbim - via miracles one after another that only the Creator of all could do].
