Why does the Torah insert the word " Veheirim Mimenu"?
Rashi Yashan and Ramban: To teach us that, when taking the Kometz, the entire Isaron should be in front of the Kohen (and that the entire Minchah must be brought in one vessel ? Ramban citing Menachos, 24a).
Why does the Torah write "be'Kumtzo" and not "M'lo Kumtzo"?
Rashi and Ramban (citing Menachos, 19b): To teach us the Kohanim to take the Kemitzah with their fist, and not to measure it with an implement.
Why does the Torah write "be'Kumtzo" here and "M'lo Kumtzo" in Vayikra, 2:2?
Rashi: Refer to 2:2:3:1*.
Seeing as we already know that a Minchah contains oil (See Vayikra 2:1), why does the Torah insert the word "u'mi'Shamnah"?
Rashi: To teach the Kohanim to take the Kemitzah from part of the Minchah which contains a lot of oil.
Why does the Torah write "mi'Soles ha'Minchah", and not simply "mi'Soltah"?
Rashi: To teach the Kohanim that the Minchah from which they take the Kometz may not be mixed with another Minchah.
What are the connotations of ?ve?eis Kol ha?Levonah?
What is the minimum Shiur of Levonah that must be burnt for the Minchah to be Kasher?
Menachos, 11a: Two grains ? "Kol" implies even one grain ('Kold'hu');, 1 and "Es" includes a second one.
See Torah Temimah, note 53.
Why does the Torah insert the (otherwise superfluous) words "asher al ha'Minchah"?
Menachos, 106b: To extrapolate that Levonah which comes on its own, requires not two grains but a full Kometz (fistful) at the beginning and a Kometz at the end. 1
That the Kemitzah is complete both when the Kohen takes and when he places it on the Mizbe'ach. See Torah Temimah
Having taught this Pasuk in Vayikra, 2:2, why does it repeat it here?
Rashi: Since the Pasuk there only refers to the Minchas So'les, the Torah here is coming to incorporate all the other Menachos.
