What is the meaning of "me'Chalelo"?
Radak: He does not do any Melachah. It is also included in "Zachor Es Yom ha'Shabbos Lekadesho" (Shemos 20:8). Kidush Shabbos is to separate it from other days. Kedushah always refers to a separate level, e.g. "va'Yavdel Aharon Lehakdisho Kodesh Kodoshim" (Divrei ha'Yamim I, 23:13). He separates it from other days via eating, drinking and clean clothing - this pertains to the body. Regarding the Nefesh, it is free from worldly engagements and refrains from them, and engages in Divrei Torah, Chachmah and contemplating Hashem's acts. Even though Shabbos is feminine, it says me'Chalelo (masculine), for it refers to Yom ha'Shabbos.
What is "me'Asos Kol Ra"?
Radak: This is a Klal for Lavim.
Malbim: This refers to [evil] Bein Adam l'Chavero.
