Why does it say "Suru Suru"?
Radak: The repetition is to strengthen the matter.
Why does it say "Tamei Al Tiga'u"?
Rashi: They will be an abomination to you; you will not touch them.
Malbim: The verse gives two reasons to leave the land of those who worship the sun and Heavenly legions. (a) The soil itself is Tamei. Do not touch it, due to Taharas ha'Guf. (b) Due to purity of thought. One cannot clarify thoughts to Kodesh while amidst idolaters.
From where should they leave?
Rashi: From Galus. These last consolations are only for the final Galus.
Why does it say "mi'Sham" and "Mitochah"?
Radak: This refers to the place of Galus, and from every city in which you are 1 .
If they left Galus, they already left every city there! Perhaps if there was only one expression, we would have said that it suffices to leave the city. (PF)
What is the meaning of "Hibaru"?
Rashi: Purify.
Radak: Cleanse from every Tum'ah and sin.
Malbim: Clarify your heart and thoughts.
Who are "Nos'ei Klei Hashem"?
Rashi: The Kohanim and Leviyim, who used to carry His Kelim in the Midbar.
Radak: (It is all of Yisrael.) When you leave, your weapons will not be sword and spear, rather, Kel's Chesed and mercy.
Targum Yonasan: They will carry the Kelim of the Beis ha'Mikdash. Radak (12) - I do not understand. The Kelim of the Mikdash were not in this Galus, like they were in Galus Bavel; then, they carried them with them when they left Galus!
