Why does it say "San'u va'Sha'ar Mochi'ach"?

1.

Rashi: You did not fear Him and His Nevi'im. You hated those who rebuke you in the gates of Batei Din.

2.

Radak: One who rebukes them va'Sha'ar (in public), they hate him. The true Nevi'im and the Chasidim among them rebuke them in public, because [the crooked judges] are many, and they sit in the gate, in place of straight judges.

3.

Malbim: This is another reason why no one raises them. They hated one who rebuked them and wanted to straighten them to return them to the proper path. This was whether he rebukes for Mishpat Bein Adam l'Chavero ? this rebuke is in the gate of the place of Mishpat (judges sit in the gate) ? and also for "Dover Tamim" (refer to 5:10:2:4).

2)

What is "Dover Tamim"?

1.

Radak #1: Tamim is an adjective 1 .

2.

Radak #2: Tamim is a noun, like "Im be'Emes uv'Samim" (Shoftim 9:16).

3.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: One who speaks straightly, they make [his words] crooked.

4.

Malbim: It is one who speaks to straighten them in matters of Tzedakah ? Bein Adam la'Makom. They despise him. If so, there is no hope that they will repent from their evil deeds via those who teach and rebuke.

I.e. he speaks pure words. Our text of Radak says 'Zachar Tamim v'Yashar?' It does not mention Yashar here! Perhaps he refers to "ha'Yesharah" (Michah 3:9; the Targum there is the same as here). Or, the text should say 'it is an adjective, like "Tam v'Yashar" (Iyov 1:1).' (PF)
