What did the 70,000 carry?

What is the meaning of "Nosei Sabal"?
Radak #1: They carry loads. Sabal is a noun.
Radak #2 citing Targum Yonasan: They carried on the shoulder; Sabal refers to the shoulder. It is as if it says Nosei b'Sabal, like "veha'Nos'im ba'Sevel" (Nechemyah 4:11).
Radak #3: In Divrei ha'Yamim II, 2:1 it says "Ish 1 Sabal"; it is an adjective describing the person. If it means so here, it is as if it says Nosei v'Sabal; the prefix Vov is omitted 2 . Nosei means that that they carry and move rocks in the mountain from place to place; Sabal means that they carry it on their shoulder until they reach the wagons; the wagons could not ascend the mountain.
Texts of Radak that say Nosei Sabal are mistaken. The text should say 'Ish Sabal', or just Sabal (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 2:17. - PF)
