Why does it say "Ki Lo Sham'u"?

Malbim: Since they did not heed Hashem, it happened that they came to Egypt. This was the last curse in Devarim - "ve'Heshivecha Hashem Egypt ba'Aniyos" (28:68). Their arrival was a punishment for past sins.
