Why does it say "like Yehoshua commanded" and "like Hashem spoke to Yehoshua"?

Malbim: Hashem did not explicitly command that each carry a rock by himself. Yehoshua commanded so. Yehoshua did not tell them "to take them to the Malon"; Hashem said so.
