1)

Who did not see light?

1.

Rashi, Malbim: Elihu concludes with rebuke of Iyov's three friends. You should have answered Iyov with all that I said!

2.

Ta'anis 7b: Ohr is Torah - "Ki Ner Mitzvah v'Sorah Ohr."

3.

Ibn Ezra: Man cannot see even light of Bahir (the sun) when clouds are in Shechakim.

2)

What is "Bahir Hu ba'Shechakim"?

1.

Rashi: What I said to you - it is clear, like [clouds] seen in Shechakim to bring down rain.

2.

Rashi, from Ta'anis 7b: Even when the Raki'a is full of Behorim (clouds to bring rain), a wind clears them away, and rain does not come 1 .

3.

Refer to 37:21:1:3.

4.

Malbim: This knowledge (that Hashem oversees).

1

Rashi: The Drashah is unlike the verses.

3)

What is the metaphor "v'Ru'ach Avrah va'Tetaharam"?

1.

Rashi: A wind comes and removes [the clouds], and rain does not come. So you began to answer Iyov, but you stopped and did not give a [proper] answer.

2.

Refer to 37:21:2:2.

3.

Malbim: There is no cloud (folly or claim) to block you from seeing this (Hashem's Hashgachah). I already dispelled any denial of it!
