Why does it say "b'Soch Chalalim Nasenu Mishkav Lah [b'Chol Hamoneha]"?
Rashi: [Eilam] will lie [in the grave forever.
Radak: [Eilam] lied in the grave with other dead bodies.
Malbim: Among the Arelim that were killed, there will be place for the multitudes of Eilam to lie.
What do we learn from "[b'Chol Hamoneha] Sevivosav Kivroseha"?
Radak: The graves of Eilam will be around her multitudes.
Malbim: Eilam's graves will be around those of Pharaoh.
What do we learn from "Ki Nitan Chitisam b'Eretz Chayim"?
Malbim: The Arelim were killed via the sword because they put their fear in Eretz ha'Chayim and destroyed the Mikdash.
What shame will Eilam bear?
Malbim: They are among the Arelim who are Temei'im in their eyes 1 . Chazal said that in the future, Paras will fall in the hands of Edom - "Im Lo Yischavum Tze'irei ha'Tzon". They said also that Edom will fall in the hands of Paras; both of them are true 2 .
Above (17), Malbim said that Eilam has the creed of Yishmael; they circumcise.
Yuma 10a brings both of these. However, it learns from the verse cited that Edom will fall to Paras! The verse appears in Yirmeyah 49:20 and 50:45, regarding the fall of Edom and Bavel, respectively. (PF)
