What does the Torah mean when it writes "Veshavta ad Hashem Elokecha"?
Ramban: This Pasuk is a prophecy that Yisrael will do Teshuvah with a full heart, and take upon themselves, they and theirchildren 1 for all generations with a curse and an oath, to follow the path of Torah ... , as indeed they did at the time of the redemption from Bavel. 2
Seforno and Targum Yonasan: It means that their Teshuvah will reach the Kisei ha'Kavod, 3 (when it is performed with the sole intention of doing the will of their Creator - Seforno).
Oznayim la'Torah: The Torah does not write "Im Tashuv", but "Vehashevoso el Levavecha" ... "Veshavta ad Hashem Elokecha" ... "Veshav Hashem Elokecha es Shevuscha" this is an assurance that there will definitely come a time when Yisrael will return to Hashem..
Why does the Torah add "Veshama'ata be'Kolo ke'Chol asher Anochi Metzavcha ha'Yom"?
Seforno: To teach us that we should not continue to serve Hashem by rote 1 - as we did until now.
Simply because that is what we were taught as children.
What are the implications of "Atah u'Vanecha"?
Ramban #1: Refer to 30:2:1:1.
Ramban #2: The Pasuk means 'like all which I commanded you and your children ... '. 1
Ramban #3 (according to Kabalah): It hints at what the Gemara says in Yevamos, 63b 'Ben David (Mashi'ach) will only come when all the Neshamos in the 'Guf (a storehouse of Neshamos) are finished'.
Seforno: It is a prediction that even the subsequent generations will come to the above realization. 2
Oznayim la'Torah: A Ba'al Teshuvah must bear in mind that, when he sinned, he took his children with him. Consequently, when he does Teshuvah, 3 he mus make a point of bringing them back together with him.
Ramban: As in Vayigash Bereishis, 45:19 and in Ki Savo Devarim, 26:6.
Seforno: As the Navi states in Yirmiyah, 31:33.
The Torah writes this in deference to the parents, although, the truth of the matter is that, nowadays, it is often the cse that it is the children who bring their parents back to the fold - as the Navi prophesied in Ma'l'achi, 3:24 "Veheishiv Leiv Avos al Banim ve'Leiv Banim al Avosam".
What are the implications of "be'Chol Levavcha"?
Seforno: It implies that one arrives at the above realization with certainty, without a shadow of doubt. 1

Why does the Torah add "u've'Chol Nafshecha"?
