Why does it say "Gam Avner"? Did someone else speak to Binyamin?

Radak: It is as if says 'Avner spoke also to Binyamin.' It says above (verse 17) that he spoke with Ziknei Yisrael.

Why did Binyamin desire David?

Radak: Even though they were relatives of Beis Sha'ul, they saw that David succeeds in all his ways and in all his wars, and Beis Sha'ul is diminishing, and they did not have a good sign in their kingship. Also, Avner veered their hearts towards David, for he wanted to make Shalom with him.
