What is the meaning of "va'Ya'ad"?

Rashi: It is an expression of warning 1 , like "v'A'idah Bam Es ha'Shamayim?" (Devarim 31:28). Radak ? there is a Patach under the Ayin because it is a guttural letter. Otherwise, it would have a Segol, like "va'Yashev Es Kol ha'Rechush" (Bereishis 14:16).
