What do we learn from "She'eris Yisrael Lo Ya'asu Avlah v'Lo Yedabru Chazav"?

Pesachim 91a: If one was incarcerated via Yisraelim, and they promised to release him on Leil Pesach, we may slaughter Pesach for him alone. (They will keep their word.)

Bava Metzi'a 106b: If one rented a field to plant wheat, he may plant barley. If he was Choker to plant legumes, he may plant grain. R. Shimon ben Gamliel forbids - "Yisrael... Lo Yedaberu Chazav."

Kidushin 45b: A man argued with his wife about to whom they would be Mekadesh their daughter. He consented that she marry his wife's relative. Later, his relative was Mekadesh her. Surely, the father does not consent - "Lo Ya'asu Avlah v'Lo Yedabru Chazav."

Mesilas Yesharim (Perek 11): It is forbidden to swindle even a Nochri.

Malbim: They will not do deeds of fraud, and not even speak Sheker.

What is "Tarmis"?

Radak: It is Mirmah (guile). Its grammatical form is like Tarbis.

Why does it add "v'Lo Yimatzei b'Fihem Leshon Tarmis"?

Malbim: Lashon (the tongue) represents speech of Tevunah and logic. People can make misleading comparisons and words of guile in investigations and matters of Emunah. Rather, they will be complete in action, speech and investigation.

Why does it say "Ki Hemah Yir'u v'Ravtzu"?

Radak: This is the reward for not doing fraud or speaking Sheker. It uses these expressions because Yisrael were compared to a flock.

Malbim: They are like a flock, that a shepherd grazes them on still water.

What is the significance of "v'Ein Macharid"?

Malbim: They do not need a Bris with other nations, and to learn from their mindsets and deeds.
