Rashi writes: "'Let me turn aside' - from here, to get closer to there." What is Rashi explaining?

Gur Aryeh: Turning aside would not in itself help Moshe to see the vision; he could have turned in any direction! Rather, Moshe specifically wanted to get closer and see.
