Why does it say "v'Hayah Tachas Bosem Mak"?
Rashi: Where they used to perfume themselves, will decay.
Radak: Fragrances sustain the flesh - just the contrary, it will melt! This is like "u'Leshono Timak b'Fihem" (Zecharyah 14:12).
Malbim: Where they used to perfume themselves, will melt, and it will be impossible to put fragrances there.
What is the meaning of "v'Tachas Chagurah Nikpah"?
Radak citing Chulin 7b 1 : One is not Nokef (stub) his finger below, unless this was announced (decreed) above.
Rashi: Where she girded herself, will be surrounded with cuts. This is like "v'Achar Ori Nikpu" (Iyov 19:26), "v'Nikaf Sivchei ha'Ya'ar" (above, 10:34).
Radak: The flesh will be stricken, and they will not be able to gird on it - "v'Achar Ori Nikpu Zos."
Malbim: Where they used to gird themselves tightly, will be bruised and cut, and it will be impossible to gird there. 2

What is the meaning of "v'Tachas Ma'ase Mikshah [Karchah]"?
Rashi #1: Where they used to do the act said above - Haloch v'Tafof Telachnah" (16), at the top of the head, there will be Mikshah Karachah - a blow that makes the head bald. Mikshah is knocking, like "Da l'Da Nakshan" (Daniel 5:6).
Rashi #2: In place of matters that are made Mikshah (beaten flat) - they used to put gold plates in belts
Rashi: However, this is difficult. If "Ma'ase" is Samuch to "Mikshah", there should be a Kamatz (what we call Tzeirei) under the Sin. Here there is Patach (what we call Segol); this shows that it is not Samuch! (Also, how does baldness pertain to where belts are worn? - PF)
What is "v'Tachas Pesigil"?
Rashi: Pesigil is like two words - Pesi Gil, a Kli that brings to Gilah (joy), i.e. the womb said above ("Pas'hen" - 17). In place of that joy, she will gird sackcloth on her loins.
Radak: Pesigil is a thick silk belt.
Malbim: Where they used to wear wide garments, they will wear thin sackcloth.
It says "Ki Sachas Yofi" - what will be in place of beauty?
Rashi: This (what the verse said until now) is proper for them, in place of the beauty that they used to flaunt.
Radak citing Shabbos 62b: "Ki" is an expression of Keviyah (a wound due to fire). People say 'in place of beauty is Kava'ah 1 .'
Malbim: Wherever there used to be beauty, will be Ki 2 (vomit), repulsion and Michvah (a wound due to fire).
Our text in Shabbos says 'Kiva'. Rashi explains that it is pus. (PF)
