What are "ha'Rishonim veha'Acharonim"?

1.

'Rashi': It is what happened to him from his beginning to his end.

2)

Where are they written in Divrei Shmuel, Nasan and Gad?

1.

'Rashi': Divrei Shmuel are in Sefer Shmuel, and Divrei Gad are in the episode of the plague 1 . For the king's honor, it mentions that the entire Parshah of his greatness is written here and elsewhere. Similarly, it says that the aggrandizement of Mordechai is written "Al Sefer Divrei ha'Yamim l'Malchei Madau u'Faras" (Esther 10:2).

2.

Malbim: Shmuel wrote David's first matters, in Shmuel's lifetime. Nasan and Gad wrote his latter matters in their Seforim.

'Rashi' did not discuss Divrei Nasan. Perhaps it is clear that these are the narratives in Shmuel II, Melachim I and Divrei ha'Yamim I in which he spoke with David about building the Beis ha'Mikdash, the episode of Bas Sheva, and Adoniyahu's rebellion. (PF)
