Seeing as both Aharon and his sons leaned their hands on the bull, why does the Torah write "Vesamach" (singular)?

1.

Or ha'Chayim (citing the Tosefta): 'If five partners Shecht a Korban, each one is obligated to perform Semichah, not all at once, but one after the other'. 1

See Oznayim la'Torah, who explains why the Tosefta derived this from this Pasuk. He also queries this explanation from the Eil ha'Olah, in Pasuk 15, where the Torah writes "Vesamchu" (in the plural), whereas in Pasuk 19, regtarding the Eil ha'Milu'im (the second ram, the Torah again writes "Ve'samach" (see the Oznayim la'Torah's extensive elaboration) - and he concludes that such is the way of the Torah regarding a number of people who perform a Mitzvah, to change from plural to singular, seemingly at random. See Pasuk 32 "Ve'achal Aharon u'Vanav, where he makes the same comment.

Where did Moshe Shecht the bull of the Chatas?

1.

Rashi: In any part of the Azarah 1 which was situated in front of the Ohel Mo'ed.

On the north side, since Kodshei Kodshim are always Shechted in the north (See Sifsei Chachamim).
