What do we learn from "Nasiv Lo Yeda'o Ayit"?

1.

Rashi: Troops of bandits did not pass over the path.

2.

Malbim: Sometimes metals are revealed. Sometimes a hidden path brings water from the mountain top to a tunnel underneath, and it fills the tunnel. The water pressure lifts and uproots the mountain.

2)

Why does it specify "v'Lo Shezafato Ein Ayah"?

1.

Rashi: Ayah sees better than other birds. Therefore, it is called [also] Ra'ah. It stands in Bavel, and sees a carcass in Eretz Yisrael (Chulin 63b). The verse means that Meraglim did not see it.
