Why does he now request that Hashem show him His way?
Radak (10): Since I am Your handiwork, and You gathered me until now, it is proper that You do so.
Malbim: He requests that Hashem make easy for him the means needed for knowing Divine matters and truths. Hashem should show to him the big path. The particular path (needed in special cases), it is not enough to show it; Hashem should lead him on it. I explained (5:9) that there are two hindrances. (a) One does not know the path, or (b) obstacles on the path. The Nimshal is, what I do not know, inform me; the obstacles of the Yetzer ha'Ra, desires and seeking essential needs - lead me on a straight path!
Who are "Shorerai"?
Radak: They are enemies who look at me with an evil eye, e.g. "va'Yhi Sha'ul Oyen Es David" (Shmuel I, 18:9). They think that I have no share in Hashem.
Malbim: They are those who want to kill me, or make my soul sin.
