What is the difference between "Bamos" and "Chamanim"?

1.

Rashi: 'Bamos' are towers and castles, and 'Chamanim', a kind of idol that they placed on their rooftops facing the sun. 1

2.

Rashbam, Targum Onkelos and Targum Yonasan: 'Bamos' refers to the altars that they built (to sacrifice to their gods and 'Chamanim', to diviners and sorcerers - Targum Yonasan).

1

Chizkuni: It is based on the word 'Chamah', and the 'Nun' is extra. Presumably, it was a form of sun-god.

2)

What did Hashem mean when He said "Venasati es Pigreichem al Pigrei Giluleichem"?

1.

Rashi and Seforno: It refers to a time 1 when, bloated with hunger, they took their gods from their bosoms and kissed them, at which point their stomachs split open and they fell on them (their gods). 2

2.

Rashbam: It means that they will be killed as they are in the houses that house their Bamos (sacrificing to their gods).

1

Seforno: As the Gemara in Sanhedrin, 63b relates regarding Eliyahu and a child that he found dying of hunger.

2

This might also be what Targum Onkelos and Targum Yonasan are referring to.
