Radak #1: It was hanging in back of the place where the Efod and Choshen were 2 .
Radak #2: This was not the Efod of the Choshen, rather, a linen Efod, like it says "Shemonim va'Chamishah Ish Nos'ei Efod Bad", "v'David Chagur Efod Bad" (22:18, 2:6:14). The sword was hanging in back of these garments.
What is the meaning of "Im Osah Tikach"?
Radak: If you want it, (take it, for there is no other sword here).
Achimelech knew that there is no other sword like it. Why did he say "Im Osah Tikach"?
Radak: It was in the Ohel Mo'ed to recall the miracle. Achimelech did not want to remove it, if there was another. However, there was not, and he could not withhold it from David, since David took it from Galyus and put it in the Ohel Mo'ed! David could take it and return it when he wanted.
Malbim citing Mahari: Soldiers refrain from taking a sword used to kill its owner; it is a bad Siman for its [future] owner. David said that for himself, it was a good Siman, for he won with it.
