What is the meaning of "va'Yashav Arnan"?

Why were they hiding?
'Rashi': They fulfilled "Bo va'Chadarecha u'Sgor Delasecha Ba'adecha Chavi Kim'at Rega Ad Ya'avar Za'am" (Yeshayah 26:20).
The verse says that Arnan saw the angel. Why did his sons hide?
Ralbag: All there saw the angel. They hid amidst great fear.
Gra: Even though his sons did not see it, they saw their father hide, and hid with him.
Why does it say that he was threshing?
'Rashi': It says below (verse 23) that he offered wheat for a Minchah. We should not be astounded from where he had wheat.
Gra: Initially he was threshing. When he saw the angel, he hid.
