What is "Nachalah Mevoheles ba'Rishonah"?

1.

Rashi: He is frantic to take first, like Bnei Gad and Bnei Reuven, who rushed to take their portions in Ever ha'Yarden. They spoke with frenzy - "Gidros Tzon Nivneh l'Miknenu Po v'Arim l'Tapenu" (Bamidbar 32:16) - they made the secondary primary. They put their flocks before their children.

2.

R. Yonah: "Gozel Aviv v'Imo v'Omer Ein Pesha Chaver Hu l'Ish Mashches" (28:24). He is foolish [to steal from them], for he says 'for whom do they toil and deprive their souls of good - for me! Also, he hopes to inherit all their property in the end. Then the sin of theft will be erased, for theft can be fixed via returning it - "v'Heshiv Es ha'Gezeilah" (Vayikra 5:23). Our verse teaches, when he takes his inheritance prematurely in his father's lifetime, his end will not be blessed. Even when the inheritance falls to him in Mishpat, it will not be blessed, for he was frantic to takes it prematurely. Mevoheles is prematurely, like "va'Yvahel Es Tamrukeha" (Esther 2:9).

2)

What end will not be blessed?

1.

Rashi: They were exiled many years before the other tribes, like it says explicitly in Seder Olam. Tanchuma (Matos 7) says, "va'Ya'ar Elokei Yisrael Es Ru'ach Pul Melech Ashur" (Divrei ha'Yamim I, 5:26) in Achaz' second year. The other of the 10 tribes] were exiled in Chizkiyah's sixth year 1 , which was the ninth of Hoshe'a ben Elah.

2.

Malbim: There is no Brachah on coins of an inheritance or Metzi'ah, like Chazal said. Only Kinyan via efforts is blessed. All the more so a premature inheritance will not be blessed - because it is an inheritance, and because he took it prematurely.

This was 19 years later, for Achaz reigned 15 years. (PF)
