Malbim: This is a continuation of the nation's complaint against Bnei Eli. Eli and his sons were judges, to rule about one who sins against his friend. If one will sin against Hashem, who will judge him? Bnei Eli themselves disgrace Kodshim and revile Hashem!

What is the meaning of "u'Filelu Elokim"?

Rashi: The judge will judge us. U'Filelu is an expression of judgment, like "v'Nasan bi'Flilim" (Shemos 21:22).

Malbim: I.e. Hashem will not help him to repent, to arouse his heart and tilt him to the good. He will leave him totally to his choice. Had Eli's rebuke been before the decree, Hashem would have helped them to heed it.
