Why does it say "Mechaseh Pesha Mevakesh Ahavah"?
Rashi: If a man sins against another, and the latter covers it up and does not mention it, and does not show an angry face, this causes the former to love him.
R. Yonah: One who wants to acquire lovers and friends, he should cover his colleague's sins and overcome his Midos. Then his lovers and friends will increase. He covers up even sinful deeds [and all the more so words].
Malbim: It already says "Al Kol Pesha'im Techaseh Ahavah" (10:12). Here it says the converse - one who covers sins seeks love. This causes the other to love him.
What is the meaning of "v'Shoneh v'Davar Mafrid Aluf"?
